About Dr. Yoon Han
Dr. Han’s treatment philosophy has been shaped over 25 years of experience in providing chiropractic treatment across the globe. Dr. Han graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa, where he received one-of-a-kind training preparing him to become the excellent practitioner he is today. Shortly after finishing his studies, he moved to South Korea where he practiced at a rehabilitation clinic with an interdisciplinary team. This is where his interest and specialization in pain management began. To further diversify and solidify his treatment philosophy, Dr. Han worked at an oriental medicine clinic in both South Korea and Malaysia. And since 2011, he has practiced in Canada, taking a patient-centered approach in tailoring his treatment for each individual. Dr. Han has devoted his career to pain management, specializing in lower back pain. The first visit with Dr. Han involves a detailed consultation regarding the presented problem. This is followed by a comprehensive examination and movement analysis of the patient. He may accompany other tests such as X-rays, CT or MRI to better understand a patient’s condition. Treatment modalities may involve “hands-on” manual therapy to address joints, muscles, ligaments, and fascia. Dr. Han believes in working together with his patients and empowering them in their journey to recover and improve their health.
